Shawn B. Green, 46, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Reading Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Debbie McDonald Green, with whom he shared 20 years of marriage this past February.

Born in Albany, N.Y., Shawn was the son of Edward and Anne Woodhead Green of Albany, N.Y.  He was a high school graduate of South Colonie School District of New York and a graduate of Union College.  Shawn was employed as a Software Test Engineer at Vertex of Berwyn, PA.  He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Gulph Mills.

Carolyn Elizabeth Meyers Orem, 71 of Exton died peacefully on March 11th 2009 surrounded by her loving family and beloved cat "Max".

She was wife to the late William Spencer Orem Sr. and daughter of the late Marguerite Elizabeth Biery Meyers and Benjamin Franklin Meyers Sr.

Carolyn enjoyed a long career as a registered nurse helping those in need by bestowing on them endless amounts of kindness and humor. She continued her mission of compassion till the age of 70, when sadly, her illness began to wear her down.

Craig H. Wittmaier, 45, of West Chester, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Chester County Hospital. Born in West Chester, he was the beloved son of Janice Heston Wittmaier of West Chester and the late Herbert N. Wittmaier.

Craig was self-employed as an Electrician. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel Chester Springs in Exton.

He is survived, in addition to his mother, by his maternal grandmother, Adeline Heston of Narvon, and two sisters, Cynthia L. Hoopes of Gap and Julie N. Fuchs of Coatesville.

Raymond A. Bernard, 49, of York, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Lisa Jean Sabbi Bernard of Honey Brook.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Deana Barrage Bernard of Paradise and the late Raymond D. Bernard. Raymond was a 1977 graduate of CASH. He was employed by Safe Guard in New Holland.

Christopher David Kirk, 39, of Christiana, PA passed away at the Lancaster General Hospital on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. He was the loving husband of Heather Lynam Kirk with whom he shared 14 years of marriage.

Born in Media, he was the son of Donald H. Kirk of Kirkwood, PA and Lucille Bartley Kahan of Kennett Square and step son of Holly Wills Kirk and Dan Kahan.

Timothy James Garress I, 49, of Manheim, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the Tremont Health and Rehab Center of Tremont, PA.

Born in Coatesville, he was the beloved son of Deloris Ward Osborne, wife of Bob, of Laferia, TX, and the late Charles A. Garress, Sr., husband of Patricia S. Garress of Coatesville.

Timmy was a 1978 graduate of the Coatesville High School. He was employed as an over the road truck driver for many different area companies.

Frank H. Root, 88, of Westwood, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at his home in Westwood. He was the widower of the late Regina Szczepura Root, who passed away in 1997.

Joyce E. Miller, 49, of Lancaster, formerly of Coatesville passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Hospice of Lancaster County's Mount Joy Center. She was the beloved wife of Arnold J. Miller Sr., with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Ronald C. Twyman Sr. of Oxford and the late Nellie Hughes Twyman.

Sue Ann Jordan, 65, of Gordonville, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Charles L. "Chuck" Jordan, who passed away in 2003.

Born in Maryland, she was employed at Penguin of Sadsburyville as an assembly line worker. Sue was a member of the United Methodist Church of Intercourse.

Gregory L. Evans, 61, of Gap, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 while under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County at the Essa Flory Center. He was the husband of Deborah A. Ondeck Evans.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Amelia B. Mackey of Akron, and the late Fredrick Evans, and the step-son of the late John Mackey.

He was employed as a facility operator at Quebecor Printing Inc. of Atglen for 26 years, retiring three years ago. Greg was a member of the Rainmakers, the Gap VFW, the Perryville American Legion and a life member of the Amvets #19.
