Shirley A. Killinger, 64, of Narvon, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Townsend "Tiny" Groce and Mildred Walker Groce.

An area resident her entire life, she was employed by the Little Chef of Coatesville as a waitress, retiring in 1993. Shirley enjoyed bowling, dancing and was an avid Elvis Fan

Pauline M. Harris, 70, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Cushman R. Harris, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Theresa M. Slack, 60, of Cochranville went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday April 12, 2009. She was the wife of Alan E. Slack with whom she shared 41 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Caporaletti Mastrostefano.

Meriam E. Criswell McCord, 85, of Newark DE, formerly of Oxford, PA passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the University Community Hospital in Tampa, FL. She was the widow of the late John McCord, who passed away in 1998 after they had shared 54 years of marriage together.

Raymond J. Fulmer, 70, of Parkesburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the his home. He was the beloved husband of Gale Fulmer, with whom he would have shared 49 years of marriage on the 30th of April.

Alexander E. "Bucky" Clark, 7, of East Fallowfield, formerly of Paoli, passed away on Sunday April 5, 2009 at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Born in Norfolk, VA he was the son of Todd Warrick and Amber Clark.

Bucky was a 1st grade student at East Fallowfield Elementary School. He was recently inducted as an honorary member of Cub Scout Troop 219 of East Fallowfield by his best friend David Leahy. Bucky attended the Parkesburg Baptist Church.

Louise M. Williams, 62, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the wife of Clyde R. Ferguson and her first husband the late Ted Williams.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Moore and Bertha Taylor Moore Campbell. Louise was employed in the Housekeeping Dept. of the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Coatesville for over 30 years. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Coatesville and served on the Dorcas Missionary Society.

Emmy Lou Nevin, 94, of New Holland, formerly of Atglen, passed away on March 29th at Garden Spot Village in New Holland, PA. Born March 22, 1915 in New Hampden, VA, she was the daughter of the late Uriah and Clara Mauzy Hevener. During World War II, Emmy Lou worked for the Selective Service in Washington, D.C., where she met her future husband, Glenn W., who was stationed at the White House. They were married for 56 years until his death in 2000.
