Robert M. Ziegler, 84, of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Zeist, Netherlands, he was the son of the late Gerard and Angelle Ziegler. Robert formerly lived in Thorndale and Malvern. He was employed as an electrical engineer by the Unisys Corp., formerly Burroughs. He was a member of Praise Fellowship Church in Downingtown and the American Theatre Organ Society.

Rosemary Ann Townsend, 77, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, November, 22, 2008 while visiting her son in Parkesburg, PA. She was the wife of Joseph R. Townsend, Jr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Bridgeport, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Tidebach Ryan. Rosemary graduated in 1949 from the West Catholic Girls School in Philadelphia. She was a resident of Florida for the past 21 years and a member of St. Brendan Church in Ormond Beach, FL.

Jean Collins, 87, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday November 22, 2008 at her home at the Harrison Senior Living Center in Coatesville. She was the wife of the late Eugene "Mike" Collins and her first husband the late Warren W. Root. Born in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Retta Ginithan Middaugh. Jean graduated from the Scott High School in Coatesville and lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of the Towerville Christian Church.

E. "Winn" Chomyn, 84, of West Bradford, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of the late Paul Chomyn who died in 2005.

Mary Jane Irvin Keim, 86, of Lancaster, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at her home in the Brethren Village Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late George V. Keim. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late J. Martin and Viola Luttenberger Irvin.

Mary Jane graduated from McCaskey High School in 1940 and continued her education at Millersville State Teachers College graduating in 1944. She began her lifelong teaching career in Pottsgrove and retired from the Octorara School District in 1984 with 27 years of service.

Helen B. Myers, 92, of Cochranville, passed away on Saturday November 15, 2008 at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana, Pa. She was the loving wife of Robert L. Myers with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. Born in West Fallowfield Township, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Caroline Chambers Bush.

Helen was an area resident all her life and 1934 graduate of the former West Fallowfield High School. She was a member of the Faith Bible Chapel and the Golden Age Club of Cochranville.

Susan K. Adger of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of Coatesville, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 9, 2008.  Born in Coatesville on Dec. 27, 1966, she was 41 years old.

Anna V. Deputy, 77, of Sadsburyville, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008 while under the loving care of her daughter Cathleen at her home in Brandamore. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Deputy. Born in Narberth, PA she was the daughter of the late Sylester F. and Josephine W. Redmond McGeoy.

Anna graduated from the West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia. She lived in Chester County most of her life and was most recently employed as a cook by the Coatesville Moose Lodge where she was famous for her delicious soups and meatloaf.

Frances M. Kretchmer, 78, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday November 7, 2008 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Kretchmer who died in 2001. Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Woodward Goss.

Michael B. Linhard, 47, of Cochranville, PA, formerly of Baltimore, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of Anne Clement Hutchison Linhard, with whom he had shared three weeks of marriage.

Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Helen Hertzog Linhard of Towson, MD and the late James F. Linhard. He graduated from the Frostburg State College of Maryland. Michael was employed at Wells Fargo of Chester as a Finance Manager.
