Marlene M. Beecher, 76, of Millersville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA.

Born on November 29, 1947, in Coatesville PA, she was the daughter of the late Mark J. Stoltzfus and Margaret E. Powell Stoltzfus.

She was the widow of the late Earl Robert Beecher who died in 2013.

Marlene was a 1965 graduate of Octorara High School.

Early in her career Marlene was employed as an office manager for Dr. William Fetchik in Quarryville, PA. After retirement, she volunteered her time as a personal care aid for an elderly neighbor in SC.

Marlene had a love for the beach and enjoyed her home in Myrtle Beach, SC. She and Robert (Bob) shared a love for antiquing together. She spent much of her time crafting and painting and achieved many prized ribbons for her creations. She could spend countless hours sitting and reminiscing through family photos and albums.

She is survived by two sons: Thomas Beecher companion of Jeni Kneisley, Millersville, PA, Jason Beecher, of Windsor, PA, a daughter: Tamara, wife of Scott Musgrave, of Ridgeville, SC; 4 grandchildren: Celina & Jasmine Beecher, Tyler & Trevor Kvidt, 6 great grandchildren: 1 heavenly great grandchild along with 5 siblings: Maxine Stoltzfus, Carl Stoltzfus, Joy Bohmier, Kelly Daly & Beth Stoltzfus.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Stoltzfus.

Marlene was a devoted wife, mother, and sister, a loving grandmother and great grandmother but most of all an amazing person who will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. She leaves us with many wonderful memories.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 from Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA at 10:00 am with a Private Service for immediate family to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be private at Fort Indian Town Gap Cemetery at a later date.

Expressions of love, comfort and sympathy to Marlene's family and friends. The Class of '65 was truly blessed to have her as a dear friend! Such a "bright light" with a "quiet loving spirt"; one who stood out among many. Several of us often spoke of her in a caring and loving way. I, for one, am sorry for not taking the opportunity to visit with her these past several years. Marlene was one admired by so many. Rest in peace, Marlene dear friend.
