Brenda J. Quickel, 83, of Kinzers, PA, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was the wife of Wilson Quickel for over 65 years. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Brown) Doyle.
Brenda was an area resident for most of her life. She graduated from Scott High School in Coatesville and worked several jobs over the years, including Weavers Chicken and Amelia's Grocery Store. She was an active member of Faith Community Church in Atglen, PA, helping in the kitchen, cleaning, and with various activities.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Debra Reed (David Lutz) of Lancaster, PA, Wilson Quickel Jr. of Kinzers, Neal (Penny) Quickel of Quarryville, PA, and Jeff (Gemma) Quickel of Kinzers, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren with a third one on the way, and siblings, Sandra Dickey of Lancaster, PA, and Robert Doyle of Bedford County, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from Faith Community Church, 332 Chester St., Atglen, PA, 19310, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Faith Community Church at the above address.
