Elsie Marie Marshall

Elsie Marie Marshall, 85, of Coatesville, PA, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 5, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Richard L. Marshall who passed away in 2012.  Born in Highland Township, Chester County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. Semple and the late Elizabeth N. (Thompson) Semple Laus.

Elsie was an  area resident most of her life and a graduate of Scott High School.

She is survived by her children, Debora Ann Marshall of Coatesville, Richard L. Marshall Jr. of Elverson, PA,  daughter-in-law, Patti Marshall, grandchildren, Ambrielle Marie Marshall and Michael James Marshall, all of Elverson, sister, Grace Dement of Brookhaven, PA, and a sister-in-law, Lois Summers of Coatesville. She was preceded in death by siblings, Paul, Ralph, Lois, and Betty Ann.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St Jude's Children Hospital.
