Charles M. Harris, III, 66, of West Grove, PA, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis J. Watkins Harris with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Charles M. Harris, Jr. and Mary J. Brown Harris.

Charles was born and raised in Pomeroy and he was a 1976 graduate of the Coatesville Area Senior High School. He was employed by the Oxford Public Library in charge of maintenance. Charles was a hardworking and gentle man that would do anything to help those in need. He was a loving father with a kind and generous heart. His family was his pride and joy, and he has blessed them with a beautiful home in which to live on.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two sons; Charles Harris IV and wife Tina of Oxford, Carl M. Harris and fiancé Kalyn Highfield of West Grove, and three grandchildren; Bella Harris, Bianca Harris, and Hudson Harris. Also, three siblings; Barb J. Profeto and husband Dennis Profeto of Sadsburyville, PA, Margaret J. Hoover of Parkesburg, PA, and James B. Harris of Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by two sisters Lorraine Griest and Doris Harris.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
