Judy K. McPherson, 78, of Quarryville, PA, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Newport Meadows Nursing Home in Christiana, PA. She was the wife of the late Donald L. McPherson who died in 2013. They shared 49 years of marriage. Born in West Grove, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. Soulliard and Alice Hagy Soulliard.
Judy was an area resident all her life and a 1962 graduate of the Oxford High School. She was employed by the Oxford School District and later the Solanco School District as a cafeteria aide.
She is survived by two children; Donald G. McPherson and wife Rebecca of Port Deposit, MD and Alison McPherson of Quarryville, PA, two grandsons, Craig McPherson and wife Rachel Saccarelli of Bechtelsville, PA and Steven McPherson of Port Deposit, MD, one great-granddaughter Lily McPherson of Port Deposit, MD, and one brother Walter L. "Chuck" Soulliard, Jr. of Quarryville.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, 357 Octorara Road, Parkesburg, PA.

Judy and I were first cousins and used to enjoy laughs when talking about the "old days". We both had lots of stories from our parents that we would share and laugh about. She would always say she was trying to get ahead of me in school events, sports, driving etc as I was older and Aunt Alice would egg us on... Rest in Peace Cuz you beat me this time. Carol.
Memories
We had so much fun as kids! We were next door neighbors for many years. Judy had the coolest toys & years later the best boyfriend! Donnie & Judy let me tag along & always gave me rides to school! Together again, those two! Love & prayer to all of you!
