Condolences
Mr. James Witherspoon
My deepest condolences to James family. I have lost a true friend and a mentor. I have known and worked with James for more than 23 years and he helped me develop and design complicated water treatment projects across the USA and internationally. His sense of humor was out of this world that kept us going even under the most difficult situations. He was a good hardworking man and did good for his fellow beings. He will be missed tremendously.
James
I had the joy of working with James at the Duff Company.
The two of us would often have lunch together and had the most interesting conversations. A true gentleman who will be missed and remembered.

The Man. The Myth. The Legend
The Man. The Myth. The Legend, as Jimmy would say every morning when he walked into my office. Cup of coffee in hand, would sit down and just spit stories out about music, life in general, and of course, our love of scrapple. I will miss our morning chats. On behalf of your family at Duff Company. God Speed.

On behalf of the many friends he had made within the Billiard community we send our heartfelt condolences to Ruby and his extended family. The players he has inspired over the years is immeasurable. Rack em up my friend, I'll be along in a while.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Jim. I graduated with Jim from Avon-Grove High School in June, 1967. Most of my contact with him was in classes and Jim and I also played on the AGHS basketball team in 9th grade. He was known to all his teammates as 'Spoon'. He was always friendly and smiling. I got the sense Jim just loved life. RIP, Spoon.
