Gregory A. Stanley, Sr., 67, of New Holland, passed away at his home on Monday, March 27, 2023. Born in Coatesville he was the son of the late John B. Stanley, Jr. and Betty Lou (Bair) Stanley.
Gregory was a 1973 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School and most recently worked for Weaver Precast-Superior Walls. He was a member of the Welsh Mountaineers and New Holland American Legion.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, trips to the mountains and the beach, lifelong friendships, hanging out on the back deck birdwatching, and watching his grandkids swim and grow up.
He is survived by two children: Gregory A. Stanley Jr. and wife Beth of Parkesburg and Ashley Smith and husband Taylor of Gap, 5 grandchildren: Mackenzie Stanley, Avery Smith, CJ Stanley, Riley Smith, and Shea Stanley, 2 siblings: Randy L. Stanley and wife Carol of Kinzers and Karen Montgomery and husband James Jr. of Coatesville, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Additionally, he is survived by his ex-wife Suzanne Stanley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 9:30 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

I had the pleasure to work with Gregg for several years. Gregg was not only a valued team member, but someone we could always count on for a good laugh to lighten the days. He is missed and while we work to find our own comfort in the loss here at Weaver, we also wish comfort for all of Gregg's family and friends.

We were so sorry to hear of Greg,s passing. our condolences go out to his entire family. We had good times playing softball for John's Home Sales, all of the fun we had at the Rising Sun. Your laughter was one of your best assets. You could always make me laugh! WE will certainly miss you very much.

I had the great privilege to know Gregg as a co-worker for the past 10 years. Gregg was one of those guys that you could always count on, but more than that he had a friendly smile, was easy to talk to and was always good for a laugh. Aside from work or conversations typically led to the topic of motorcycles, since we both happened to ride the same bike. Gregg was a wonderful guy and is missed by his teammates here at Weaver.
