David L. Baldwin, Jr., 75, of West Brandywine passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late David L. Baldwin, Sr. and Kathryn (Givler) Baldwin. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Hess) Baldwin with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.
He was a graduate of S. Horace Scott High School in Coatesville, Pennsylvania and went on to serve in The United States Navy. He later worked for Lukens Steel of Coatesville before transitioning to a career in Auto Sales and Finance before enjoying retirement for the past 15 years.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, Trap Shooting, and occasionally vacationing. He loved his family immensely and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived in addition to his wife by two children: Tammy Eckman and fiancé Edward Hart of Coatesville, Kenny Baldwin and wife Joanna of Glenside, PA, and six grandchildren: Jesse Eckman, Tyler Eckman, Aiden Baldwin, Julianne Baldwin, Jack Baldwin, and JennyLynn Baldwin. Additionally he is survived by one brother: Patrick Baldwin of Coatesville.
Memorial services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from Hibernia United Methodist Church, 220 Hibernia Rd, West Brandywine Township, PA 19320. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period from 12 PM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
