Jimmy and I were childhood friends. He lived down the alley from me when we were 6 years old , he later moved to east second ave.. We played a lot of whiffle ball in his back yard. We all tried to hit a home run over the roof of his house. Jimmy became our Babe Ruth in high school. He could really hit.  So many memories, I am so saddened to think about him not being here anymore.

Pat & I both remember Jim as a fine person whose main attribute was his quiet strength. He was a great athletic in a number of sports. We saw him at our at a recent reunion and he was just as we remembered him..All condolences to his family.

Sorry very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing.  I  do remember the many baseball games we played at ‘The Playground" (currently Minch Park), culminating as teammates on the OHS ’64 championship baseball team.  After high school, we spent many Friday Nights just “doing things”, and thus remained close friends, until Jim moved to New England.  My most recent memories of Jim were sitting together at the same table at the 50th Class Reunion, sharing years of great memories,  Jim, my friend, may you Rest in Peace, until we meet again.
