Ralph Thomas Garris III, 60, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 27, 2022.  He was the husband of Kimberly A. Hammond for over 28 years.  Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph T. Jr. and Betty Jane Grigsby Garris.

Ralph was a lifelong Parkesburg resident.  As a kid Ralph enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his friends and deer hunting with his father.  Ralph liked to target shot and belonged to several gun clubs over the years. He liked to sit and jam his music in his car. As an adult Ralph loved riding his Harley and tinkering with his fast car.  Ralph had a great sense of humor always cracking jokes and laughing at the simple things in life.  He made light on any situation.

Ralph was a wonderful husband, father, brother, poppy, uncle and to his closest friends and family he was known as "Bernie". He is a thoughtful guy that would have given you the shirt off his back.

He loved hanging out with the family feather babies Archie and Izzy.

Landis of Parkesburg, a stepdaughter, Erica L. Landis of Ephrata, and a sister, Lisa J. Myers, wife of Herbert "Butch" Myers of Parkesburg , nieces, Chelsy Oswald, wife of Mark Oswald and Amber McEwing, wife of Travis McEwing, both of Parkesburg, 4 granddaughters, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
