I remember Evelyn from growing up in Oxford.  She and Holly were a part of our extended family.  I enjoyed knowing my cousins, and was fond of them.  Alas, we should have spent more time together, and after High School we saw little of each other.  That is my loss.  But I was glad to get re-connected to Evelyn some years ago through Facebook and in person when my wife and I traveled from Ohio.  Evelyn was proud of her family and we got to meet some of them.  I hope we can stay connected.  Evelyn, it's not good-bye, it's "see you later"!

Our condolences to the entire Townsend family on the loss of its matriarch.  Rich and Joan were classmates of Dave and Evelyn respectively and through those connections had the great honor of introducing them over 65 years ago.  The rest is history. They were great friends and pals.  Rest in Peace Evelyn. We will miss you, but we know you are in a better place.
