Everett Roop, 92, of East Fallowfield Township, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Born in Konnarock, Virginia he was the son of the late Elisha Roop and Amanda Trivett Roop. He was the beloved husband of the late Aileen Roop, who passed away in 2009.
An area resident for most of his life, Everett was employed by the Lukens Steel in Coatesville for over 36 years.
He is survived by three children; Mark Roop of Coatesville, David Roop of Reading, and Tim Roop, five grandchildren and two sisters; China Bell Hall of Pulaski, Virginia and Annette Rupe also of Pulaski, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Friendship Methodist Cemetery, Gum Tree, PA. Visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
