Emma L. Beard, 85, of Valley Township, passed away on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Hudson Beard, who passed away in 2020.  

Born in Chadds Ford, Emma was the daughter of the late Jessie (Miller) and Raymond Frame.  

Emma had worked as an oven tender for Pepperidge Farm.

Emma enjoyed bowling, yard sales, Legends Shows, and vacationing in Branson, Missouri, and Myrtle Beach.  Emma enjoyed country music, especially Kenny Chesney, Kris Kristofferson, and Elvis.  Most of all, she loved her family and she was the glue that kept everyone together.  

Emma is survived by her four children: Vicci Eidell, and husband Barry, of Pottstown, Melissa Beard, and spouse Mark Miller, of Coatesville, Bryon Beard and wife Kriss of Caln, and Shawnté Wilson of Coatesville, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and her half-sister, Fayetta Rhoades.  

She was preceded in death by one son Robert Beard. 

The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 19th, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Fellowship, 101 Kylies Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320, followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville.  The viewing will take place at the Church from 10 AM until the time of the service.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.

Many talks with lots of laughs, how I remember Emma.  She was 1 of a kind, a caring and loving person to all.  Condolences to the family and friends.  Emma will truly be missed, may she rest in peace.

I have many wonderful memories with Emma and Dorisanne  on the ovens all those years we worked together, laughing, crying , joking with each other...Emma was a joy to work with and she was such a happy person, I'm sorry for this sad loss and my thoughts are with her family and friends during this time. Rest in peace sweet lady!💟
