Jane E. Miller Barr passed peacefully at home in Pomeroy on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, where she lived for the last 58 years. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Barr, who passed away in 2005. They had two daughters, Ruby Barr Taylor, of Bowmansville, and Debra (Terry) Alexander, of East Fallowfield. They were predeceased by a third infant daughter, Donna Lou. They had five grandchildren, Ronald (Leslie) Neff, Terry Neff, Joseph Zazo, Jennifer Jane (John) Kofroth, and Chad Taylor. Also, four great-grandchildren, Lily, Joseph, Julianna, and Lilah.

Born on April 13th, 1930, she was the first born child to John and Evelyn Miller. One brother survives, George Miller of Downingtown. She was predeceased by three brothers; John Miller, James Miller, and Edgar Miller.

Jane retired from Pepperidge Farm in Downingtown after nearly 35 years of service.

Jane was an amazing person, full of life and love, especially for her family. She was positive, funny, and loved to laugh. She was loved by everyone. She will be dearly missed by her family, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 3:30 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at Hopewell Methodist Cemetery, Downingtown, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

To the Barr family, I am so very sorry to see the passing of your wonderful mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Jane was a true sweetheart and loved seeing her on her appointments. She always had the cutest smile and laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, and RIP my dear Jane

To Debby and all the family I send my sincere sympathies.  I remember Mrs. Barr and she was a sweet lady.  I lost my Mother a month ago and I know she knew you and your Mom well and enjoyed playing cards with you all.  I pray for you all that God will help you through this difficult time and help to comfort you.  Sending you love with hugs and sorrow.  Lydia and family.
