Heather N. Winward
Heather N. Winward, 82, of East Fallowfield, passed away on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 under the care of Brandywine Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Walter Winward, with whom she shared 67 and a half years of marriage.
Born at the former Coatesville Hospital, Heather was the daughter of the late Onalee A. Fisher.
Heather was a member of Parkesburg United Methodist Church, where she managed the Righteous Clothing Thrift Store for 20 years.
Heather had worked for Unisys Corp of Downingtown for 15 years as a solderer and assembler.
Heather enjoyed bowling in a bowling league at both the Ingleside and Downingtown bowling alleys. She was a life member of Westwood Fire Co.
She enjoyed going to the shore, the mountains, and shopping yard sales. Most of all, Heather loved being with her family and cooking for them, especially during the holidays.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her son Walter Lee Winward, husband of Wanda, daughter Shelli Ann Hoover, and daughter Pamela Lynn Winward; eight grandchildren, Ian Shafer, Owen Lee Winward, Buddy Lee Winward, husband of Stephanie Winward, Tammy Winward, Chelsea Marie Melrath, Katherine Grace Rauscher, wife of Maddi Rauscher, Trinity Ann Hoover, and Heather Lynn Ranck, wife of Scott M. Ranck; and, four great-grandchildren Benjamin, Ryder, Dylan, and Kyra.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2020 at 11 AM at Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365 with a viewing from 10 AM until the time of the service.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heather's memory to Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365.
In order to protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the Church.
