Thomas A. Frederick, 72, of West Brandywine Township, passed away at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia White Frederick with whom he shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Anthony and Idelle Keech Frederick.
Tom was an area resident all his life and a 1965 Graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. He served in the Army Reserves. Worked in the engineering department at the former Lukens Steel Company and he retired from the Carpenters Union of Philadelphia.
As an avid outdoorsman he was a member of many organizations including: West Caln Sportsmen's Club, Cornog Trout Club, Clearfield Valley View Gun Club, the Chester County Beekeepers Association, and the West End Fire Company. He enjoyed crabbing and fishing
in Ocean City, MD where he had a condo for 26 years and served on the board of directors.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; Heather Iovine and husband William of Coatesville and Eric Frederick of Glenmoore, PA, two grandsons; Liam Iovine and Dylan Iovine and two sisters; Shirley Heesters of Hockessin, DE and Priscilla Denithorne
of East Fallowfield.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:30 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 1:30 PM to the time of the service.

Mr Fredrick was always great to me. Even when I tried to live in his backyard in a tent forbtge winter. I will never forget the moments I shared with your family. I will always be a friend/son/brother to house Fredrick. My condolescenes.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom' passing. We lived near one another in the years we attended East Fallowfield elementary school. My prayers will be going out to the Frederick family.

Tom always attended the Carpenters Union meetings. He was helpful with our Political Action Committee. We haven't been in contact since retirement.
