Anna S. Stanley

Anna Stella Stanley, 71, of Coatesville passed away on May 3, 2019 at her home.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late  Madlian Hanna and Harold J. Thompson Sr.

She worked as a nurse's aid at Pocopson and a flight attendant throughout her life.  She enjoyed camping  at the beach and fishing.  She loved her dog, "Gizmo".

She is survived by her sons, James Lee Stanley of Coatesville, Andrew M. husband of Jackie of Atglen, grandchildren, Travis Z. Ray-Stanley, Branden M Stanley and Lindsay A. Berkley, plus a great granddaughter, Kenley R. Berkley, and siblings Terry L. Thompson and wife, Donna of Coatesville, Raymond A, Thompson of Christiana, and sister-in-law, Dottie Thompson of Coatesville.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Thompson.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 3:00pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg,  with a visitation from 2-3:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Christiana Methodist Church, 14 S. Bridge St. Christiana, PA 17509.
