Anna Marie Gurskey

Anna M. Gurskey, 94, formerly of Sadsburyville, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was the widow of Paul Gurskey who died in 1974. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Roudolph K. and Bessie L. Bailey Hess. An area resident all her life she was employed, most of her, as a beautician. Ann was a member of the Sadsburyville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Pequea Presbyterian Church.



She is survived by nieces and nephews; Janice Hendricks of Elverson, Evelyn Esworthy of Gap, Rodger W. Hatfield of Lancaster and Jean Stackhouse of Parkesburg and cousins. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Evelyn Hatfield and Herbert Walter Hess and niece Janet Grier and nephew William Henry Hatfield.



Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11: 00 am.
