Donna P. Baum, 57, of Paradise, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Hospice & Community Care Center in Mt. Joy, PA. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Baum with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul Wood, Sr. and Ethel I. Wimer Wood.
Donna was an area resident all her life and a 1978 Graduate of the Octorara High School. She was employed by A.T. Imports LTD of Lancaster.
Donna's passion was spending time with her family and good friends. She and her husband Bob traveled a lot on their Harley Davidson motorcycle. They also took many bus trips to see the Country that we live in. They enjoyed camping and she loved trips to the beach. She enjoyed gardening and its been said she had her Mother's green thumb. The flower beds that surround their home and yard are beautiful. She was also very crafty and enjoyed restoring furniture.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, seven grandchildren, two brothers; Paul Wood, Jr. of Huntingdon Co., PA and Richard A. Wimer of Mt. Joy, one sister Dolores D. Wood and husband Jay Shenberger of Drumore and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a step daughter Jeannie Heiser and one grandson Austin Wright.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Strasburg Fire Company, 203 W Franklin St., Strasburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donna's memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
