Helene R. Coover, 81, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, November 23rd under the care of Pocopson Home of West Chester. She was the wife of Earl "Jack" W. Coover, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Landsdowne, PA, Helene was the daughter of the late Helen McFeeley Wells and Robert F. Fleming. She was a graduate of West Chester Joint High School. Helene worked at Premier Woodcraft of Coatesville as the bookkeeper and office manager. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Robert Coover, husband of Debi, of Honey Brook, Jill Scott, wife of Charles, of Parkesburg, Steven Coover of Rincon, Ga., Michael Coover of Coatesville, Lawrence Coover, husband of Debbie, of Honey Brook, and Tracy Finegan, wife of Jerry, of Narvon; her eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of Pocopson Home for the loving care Helene received preceding her passing.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 3 PM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with visitation from 2 until 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pocopson Home Memorial Fund, 1695 Lenape Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
