Joseph John Angelotti, 70, of East Fallowfield, passed away on Saturday September 9, 2017 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Debra E. (Green) Angelotti, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Joseph John Angelotti Sr. and Theresa (Kufrovick) Angelotti.
Joe was raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania and grew up in his beloved neighborhood of Derry Road/Park Avenue surrounded by his lifelong friends. Joe was a 1965 graduate of Hershey High School. Joe went on to complete an Associate’s Degree at Goldey-Beacom College before honorably serving in the United States Navy aboard the USS Biddle.
During his youth Joe was a well-known Ice Hockey player, commonly referred to as a Hershey Arena “Rink Rat” spending countless hours working on his craft. Joe played for a variety of high quality teams including the Junior Bears. His love for the sport would eventually carry into his professional life, serving as General Manager of Skateland in Aston Pennsylvania. During this time he also served on the board of directors for The Ice Skating Institute of America and was a member of the Delaware Valley Rink Managers Association.
Joe held additional positions at Archetti Sales and Marketing, and Marchioro, USA, working as a sales representative in the pet industry for over twenty years. He was most recently employed by Wegmans’s in Downingtown.
He is survived in addition to his wife, by his son Brian T. Angelotti of East Fallowfield; and one sister, Patricia Skinner of Grantville, PA.
The family would like to invite everyone to attend a Celebration of Joe's life on Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 PM at 101 Crest Place, East Fallowfield, Pa. An additional celebration will take place in Hershey, PA at a later date, TBD

My prayers for healing, peace, guidance, and support go out to you. Please know you will never be alone, for Joe will always be there. I know he will meet with many loved ones, and Bill will be there to welcome him. (I hear there is quite a party going on!) As Elizabeth always said, "He will always be in Heaven and in my Heart".

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing

Debbie and family,

I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Lamar, Brad, and I always enjoyed our fun times spent together at trade shows and sales meetings. I know how shocking and painful losing your spouse feels. I was given a special book when Lamar died and I recommend it highly. I read it over and over for months and it was like going to a grief counselor each time. It's a quick read and you can finish the entire book in less than an hour. The name is, "Living when a Loved One has Died" by Earl Grollman. So many of my friends and family receive comfort from reading this book. I hope it will do the same for you. Take it one day at a time and remember their is no time clock on grief. I love you and pray God will give you the strength to face the days, weeks, months, and years ahead without Joe. Love, Pam

Sad Days and Happy Memories
So sad that the wonderful times you hd with Joe have become memories. Still, it seems to the outside world that you were close enough that he will always be with you in a different way and your love will endure. In this world where so many people move on, what a miracle that you could be together so long--so much to be grateful for and so painful now. Words fail and imagination is impotent to offer comfort in this time, but I hope you can take heart to know that love still surrounds you.
Hello Debbie::
Hello Debbie::
We received a call from Denny last night telling us about Joey. Very sad to hear of his passing and our thoughts are with you and the family. From the old hockey days Larry has always thought the world of Joey! So glad Rodney, Denny, and our darling Spooky (Carl) did the annual Derry Road Gang for the many, many years to allow us all to reunite. Larry and I always looked forward to seeing Joey and you! Our prayers are with you!
Love,
Larry and Candy
My condolences.
Sorry to hear of your loss. My best to you and your family.
