Dorothy Virginia Wise

Dorothy V. Wise, 76, of Coatesville passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Born near Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Jay H. and Rhoda Trego Wise. 

Dorothy was a 1958 graduate of the Coatesville High School. She was employed by the CIA in Washington, DC in administration. Dorothy was a member of Senior Circle. She enjoyed playing Majong and bowling. She also volunteered with the women's group at church and the Brandywine Hospital.

She is survived by five siblings; Ethel Backenstose of West Grove, Marlene Recchiuti of Honey Brook, Eleanor Cottrell Wise of Fairfax, VA, Bill Wise of Wagontown and Tom Wise of Downingtown and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Mary Neal, Valerie Ford and Betty Mason.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA. Visitation from 10 to 11am.
