Edith Elaine (Miles) Supplee, 85 of Sadsburyville, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 10th, 2017.  She was the wife of Floyd "Sonny" Supplee, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.  

Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Edith (Lawrence) and Thomas Miles.  An area resident most of her life, she was a 1950 graduate of Scott High School.  She was a 50 year member of the Wagontown Union Chapel, where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years and belonged to Women's Bible Classes.  

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two children: Brian F. Supplee, husband of Paula, of Huntington Mills, and Brenda L. Hummler of West Brandywine; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Edith was predeceased by her daughter, Penny Ann Supplee who passed away in 2010 and her siblings, Thomas Miles, Margaret Arasin and Donald Miles.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 AM at Wagontown Union Chapel,  469 W Kings Hwy, Coatesville, PA 19320 with Pastor Tim Crans officiating.  The visitation will be from 10 until 11 AM at the church.  Interment will follow the service at Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.

Sonny, Brian, and Brenda

        Pam and I are sorry for your loss.  She was always a nice lady whenever I was at your house, long ago when we were all younger.  Looking forward to seeing her again in Heaven, God willing and the creeks don't rise.
