Greta Marie Wiggins, 73, of Gap, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her home.

She was the widow of the late Stanley T. Wiggins. Sr.  Born in Parkesburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry "Mike" and Grace Wright Peace.  

Greta was an area resident all her life and was a 1961 graduate of Octorara High School. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by her children: Donald Thompson and wife Jessica, of East Earl, Beth (Thompson) Martin and husband Todd of Frenchville, PA, David Thompson Jr of Gap, PA, Stanley "Tom" Wiggins, Jr and wife Eliz of Bedford, NH and Joyce (Wiggins) Reavey and husband James, of Downingtown, PA, 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren, three sisters; Donna Landis of Narvon, Jean Engel of Mifflintown and Virgina Danz of Willow Street and her devoted companion William "Tug" Ogden.  

She was preceded in death, along with her husband, by her siblings; Nancy Softchin, Margie Wood, Judy Grier, Howard Peace and Harry Peace.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 3:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, Pa followed by interment at the Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 PM

Sweet Greta so glad to have run into you recently at Walmart always a sweetheart. Greta and family have always been friends of Gibson family memebers throughout. She will be missed but we know she is dancing and having a grand time watching over, David and bet I am so sorry for yoour loss always keep her in your hearts. I will keep each and every family memeber of greta in my prayers. Love to you all!

On behalf of The Auxiliary of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, I wish to extend deepest sympathy to Greta's family, and to Bill as well. Greta was a delightful lady, her smile and laugh will be greatly missed. She has been an active member of the auxiliary for the last few years, and her help with our activities were always enthusiastic and always cheerful. We will remember her fondly.

My Marieamor is my nicname for Greta  (Aunt). I will miss her dearly... We had lots of fun  and laughed so much.  She was not only my Aunt she was my friend.
