Helen H. Tice, 95, of Cochranville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at her home.  She was the widow of the late Harold A. Tice, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. 

Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of James C. and Hazel (Fox) Haney.  She was a graduate of Cochranville High School and has lived around Cochranville all of her life. 

Helen was an active member of Manor Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, having served as a deaconess and Sunday School teacher.  She also served as an assistant Girl Scout Leader. 

She is survived by her two sons, H. William Tice and companion Doris, of Gap and Edward A. Tice of Cochranville, and one daughter, Cynthia T. Urbanik wife of Michael of Peach Bottom, PA; three grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way; siblings, Frank Haney of Oxford, Latta Haney of Christiana, Joyce Dorazio of West Grove; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Manor Church, 505 West Street Rd., Cochranville, Pa. followed by interment at the Faggs Manor Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday night at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
