Paul R. Sherman, Jr., 81, of Ronks, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 while under the care of Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA. He was the beloved husband of Alice Joy Fisher Sherman with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Born in Atglen, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Ella Conover Sherman.
Paul was an area resident all his life and a 1954 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. He served in the US Army 101st Airborne Div. from 1955 to 1957.
Paul was employed by the former Lukens Steel as a technician.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two children: Jeffrey Lee Sherman, husband of Cindy, of East Earl, and Sandra Lee Gregg of Ephrata, PA, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two siblings, Dorothy Eppley and Wayne Sherman.
He was predeceased by his son, Richard Lee Sherman, siblings, Howard Sherman, Hope Townsend, Bonnie Charsha and Joyce Sherman.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 AM at the Maple Grove Mennonite Church, 549 Swan Rd, Atglen, PA 19310 with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.

Paul was a great man! He & Joy and their family were our neighbors when we lived on the farm, off of Doutrich Dr. for years! Love your family!!! May God be with you!!
