Barbara E. "Barb" Collins, 69, of Downingtown, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Christiana, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mildred and Martin Ammon, Jr.

Barb was an area resident all her life. She was employed by the Downingtown VFW Post where she was also a member. She was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, playing cards and bingo and most of all spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Scot Manning and wife Danielle and Alan Manning and wife Cyndi, five grandchildren; Ashlea, Ciara, Kelsey, Tyler and Chase, three sisters; Dawn Gore (Terry), Patricia Boyle and Margaret Ammon and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Vernon "Butch" Ammon.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 2pm to 5pm at the Downingtown VFW Post 845, 4601 Lincoln Hwy., Downingtown, PA 19335.
