Wilbur N. Marsh, 87, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, December 16 at Brandywine Hospital. He was the widower of the late Alice V. Marsh who passed away in 2004. They shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, Wilbur was the son of A. Verna (Werntz) and A. Norman Marsh. He graduated from Scott High School and Pratt Institute.
Wilbur served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was an architect who, when he retired was part owner of Corner Stone Design of Lancaster. He also worked previously at Lukens Steel.
Wilbur is survived by two sons: Steven P. Marsh of New City, NY, John D. Marsh of Parkesburg; four daughters, Bronwyn A. Cannon of Mohnton, PA , Carol Sue wife of Steven Festerman of Kinzers, PA, Heather L., wife of George Burke, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Wendy M. wife of Curtis Crane of York; six grandchildren; and, four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Herbert Marsh, and a grandson, Robert Cannon.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11 AM at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, 810 Newport Ave., Gap, PA with Rev. Jonathan T. Holderman officiating. The viewing will take place at the Church from 10 until 11 AM. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bellevue Presbyterian on behalf of Ukholovo Church, at the above address.
