Daniel C. Jackson, 63, of West Grove, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at his home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Doris L. Tome Jackson with whom he shared 36 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Jane Mae Bryant Jackson of West Grove and the late William Jackson, II.
Danny lived his entire life in West Grove and he attended the Avon Grove High School.
He is survived, in addition to his wife and mother, by two sons, Brian K. Myers and Steven L. Jackson, two daughters; Tonya J. Jackson and Amber Dunn, four grandchildren, three sisters Nona Lewis of DE, Helen, wife of Robert Saunders of West Grove, and Jackie Rochester of West Grove, one brother Leonard D. Jackson, Sr. and wife Laura of Kennett Square and one aunt and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers William Jackson III and Benjamin Jackson Sr.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg with visitation from 10 to 11:00 am.

My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Danny. I have known Danny all my life and the family as well. Know that Weeping may endure for a night but joy will cometh in the morning. I will miss seeing Danny walking
