Dear Kathy and Family,

Lynda and I are very sorry to here of the passing of Bill. We knew he was fighting MS over many years. From the first time we met Bill, at one of the Wertz's family outings, he became our friend. You could sense his love for both you and Jill and the Wertz family. Our prayers are with you in these times and Bill will be in your hearts forever. If you need anything please contact us (570-956-8545).

Love,

Kass, it sounds funny to say that my "sister-in-law's brother-in-law's" passing should sadden me in the way it does ... but that just speaks to the way we have all been one family over the years.

I am praying for you, dear one.

Dear Kathy, Jill, and Family,

It is with a mixture of sadness, relief, and admiration that we offer our condolences on the passing of Bill.  Sadness because he is gone from your lives and will not see his granddaughters grow up.  Relief because he and Kathy will not have to endure the almost constant physical pain Bill experienced in the latter stages of his life.  Admiration for the unwavering commitment and support Kathy provided Bill during his long battle with MS and, most recently, lung cancer.

Love,

Rich and Connie Parker

Kathy and Family,

It was a true pleasure and honor to work with Bill over so many years and to get to know him as well as I have. He was a real trooper living with his MS and never complaining. His love and passion for his family was heart warming and proof of what a great man he was. He will be in our hearts forever.
