Pop pop Don,
You are gone but never to be forgotten. I will miss you lots. I will miss you telling me to be safe on my drive home even though it is only a two minute drive. You always told me to be safe. I will also miss the times that we had in the car when I would pick you up from your day out. But just remember just because you’re gone I am not going to change how I feel out your family. I promise I will still go over Dana’s house as much as I can, and help out when and where ever is needed. Also thank you for always telling me that I am a good girl it means a lot to me coming from you. You didn’t know me that long but you told me all the time I was a good girl……. Thank you Pop pop your(girl friend) Jen

Wow! That's all that I can think of to say at this time. I can't believe you are gone. So many memories, they will always be with me. Years ago, we started off to a rocky start. I was the new girl, and spending much time at Aunt Dana's house was an adjustment (since I was sleeping on the couch). But waking up every morning listening to the Old Western Movies you would watch with Josh, and every night when Aunt Dana, Josh and I would sit on the computer when you were getting home. The events at the Club, when we would stop in and say "Hi". The talks you had with me about how I was such a good girl, and didn't deserve the things that were said and/or done to me. Hell, I even laugh to this day when I think about you telling Anth you would "steal his girl" from him if you were a few years younger. :) Those thoughts and memories will leave me, and we will be sure to pass the good times down to your grandchildren. Rest easy now, and enjoy spending time with all those up there that you haven't seen in ages. Don't worry about us, we will make it through. With time, the pain will dull, and life will get back to a new routine. We love you Pop-Pop Don...you're already missed!

Love always,
Brittani

Dear family,

Me and my husband are very sorry to hear such sad news. We understand how difficult it is to lose someone. Something that had helped us is to know that God cares and give us comfort. Also give us hope for the future, promising to swallow up death for ever and raised the ones that had died. I hope these words of comfort have helped you and your family.

My deepest condolences,

Daniel & Lynette
