At this time of loss and reflection, my thoughts go back to the many local folks we are grateful to.  The saying is true "It takes a community to raise a child."

Many thanks...

to George Daller & Octorara Area High School for helping to get Gus his first janitor job.  (With a paycheck he gladly gave to help his widowed mother of 8 children)

to Co-worker and a true Christian friend, George Young

to Friends and neighbors Steve Rylee and his dad, Harry Rylee

to the Atglen Fire Company and the brotherhood extended to Gus

to Herman and Janet Williams, much more than the greatest neighbors in the world

THANK YOU ALL

On behalf of Conestoga Valley School District, I would like to offer our deepest sympathies on Frank's passing.  Frank was a loyal employee for 30 years at CV, most recently at our Middle School.  I am saddened to learn that his years to enjoy in retirement were short.  His family is in our thoughts and prayers.  Frank was a good man and employee.

Lin and I wish to offer our sincere condolences to Joyce and Frank's entire family.  We always enjoyed talking to Frank and Joyce at the Christiana Fire Company breakfasts.  Frank and Joyce were stalwarts at our OHS class reunions.  Since we are in Florida for the winter we won't be able to attend the services, but our hearts are with you all as you celebrate Frank's life.

Dear Joyce and Family. Sorry for your loss.  I have been lucky enough since I was small to have known the Robbins Family. We grew up together. When I got older Gus and Joyce would take me along with them on their travels. He was a wonderful person and friend. You could always count on Gus. He was like the big brother I never had. You will be missed. Love to all.
