Sharon E. Highfield, 45, of Ephrata, died on Tuesday, August 25th near Gap as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Highfield, Sr. and Elizabeth Brennan Highfield.
Sharon was employed at the Blackhorse Tavern in Denver and she also tended bar at Dolly's in Ephrata.
She will be remembered for her unconditional love she extended to family and friends.
She is survived by two children; Steven E. Dellarova, II of Gap and Heather E. Dellarova of Glenmoore, four grandchildren and four siblings; Robert A. Highfield, Jr. (Erin) of West Caln, Kevin Highfield of Ephrata, David Highfield (Rachael) of Ford City, PA and Christina Highfield of Strasburg.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation from 10 to 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home at the above address to help defray funeral expenses.

I am so sorry to be writing this on Sharon's passing. I used to work with her and we became good friends. Since we both changed jobs and went in different directions, I didn't see Sharon as much. It was always a joy to run into her through out the years.. We had a lot of good times. She always put a smile on my face... My Thoughts and Prayers are with Sharon's family and friends. RIP Sharon.

To Sharon's family,especially her children and her beloved grandchildren I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Sharon was always so full of life. Through every trying time she encountered, she never ceased to amaze me with her strength and positive outlook. Truly she was an inspiration and a loving wonderful woman. Our Condolence
Our heart-felt sympathy to all Sharon's family and friends. Through all of lifes up and downs, Sharon was the beaming light house that gave direction to all those around her. She truly had a heart of a child's innocence. Her smile was as bright in the bad times as well as the good. She was a caring daughter, mother, sibling and grand-mother. The world is a little less without her. Though we will miss her greatly, we take comfort in knowing that we have another angel in Heaven that will be watching over us all.

i am so sorry for your loss. ive known your family for most of my life and even tho we dont see each other much when we do its like no time is lost. sharon and i reconnected about 10 or so years ago and have been in touch ever since. i will miss our fb chats. my heart goes out to her family who i know will miss her very much.rip my friend, until we meet again love ya jackie

So sorry for the loss of your
So sorry for the loss of your ray of sunshine, taken away too soon. Many lives were touched and helped by this woman and the world is a colder place now without her. I'm thankful for the many memories I have with her. I'm working today and wanted to bring Cheapshot to say goodbye but we can't make it in time.
