Ann V. "Nancy" Geary, 68, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of Henry J. "Gabby" Geary, with whom she would have shared 51 years of marriage this coming April 20th.
Born in Philadelphia, Ann was the daughter of the late Catherine (Casey) and Thomas Keenan.
She was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Consolation Church. She was a retired school bus driver for Krapf School Bus and had recently worked part time at the Parkesburg Walmart.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two children: John J. Geary, husband of Betsy, of Nottingham, and Holly Ann Matonak, wife of Joseph, of Coatesville; three grandchildren, Heather L. Geary, Casey L. McNeal and Breanna R. Geary; two great grandchildren, Riley Davis and Keirrah Sweigart; and one sister, Bernadette Stevens of N.J.
She was predeceased by one son, Henry J. Geary and eight siblings.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 13th, 2015 at 11 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg. The viewing will be held on both Sunday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg and again on Monday morning at the Church from 10 until the time of the Mass.

Henry and family, Joye, me and the girls offer our condolences for your loss. She was a great lady respected and loved by many. Our camping days and other functions we went to were always fun with her around laughing and carrying on fitting in with anybody she came in contact with. She will be sadly missed.

Dear Uncle Harry, John and Holly,
I am so sorry for your loss, she was the rock of the family. She will be missed by so many, especially family by myself and my mom, Bernadette. I remember all the fun times together at your home in Norwood swimming in the pool even when she wasn't home as well as your current home. The family times were always good times and she made sure everyone always felt comfortable and welcome. I remember showing up many times at your house unexpected and unannounced and Aunt Nancy said, " great to see you, stay for dinner". With that, the pot roast was on the stove and she was like Jesus and the fish with bread feeding as many people that showed up with a smile! She was always a good listener even with her bad ear! As a kid and an adult I could always count on her positive attitude and reassurance. I can't begin to express the many good memories and the sorrow at this time.
Unlce Harry, I remember she was there to warm us up after you had us on the snow blower!!!
We are here for you now and forever. Please remember all the good times and let her be your guidance in the future!
