Dorothy E. Groff, 83, of Parkesburg, died on March 11th at the Pocopson Home. Born in Wagontown, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Martha Ward Everhart.
Dot was area resident all her life and a 1949 graduate of the Coatesville High School. She was employed by the Baker Shoe Company as Dept. Manager. She was a member of the Wagontown Union Chapel.
She is survived by three children; James W. Groff and wife Faye of Parkesburg, John S. Groff and wife Elisa of Thorndale and Donna Fisk of Parkesburg, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one sister Betty Buffington of Downingtown. She was preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Tracey who died in 2004 and her brother James Everhart.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11 AM at the Wagontown Union Chapel, 469 West Kings Hwy, Coatesville, PA followed by interment at the Caernarvon Cemetery, Churchtown, PA. Viewing from 10 until 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 1 Plymouth Meeting Hall, Suite 520, Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 19462-1316.
