Clarence F. Foster, 94, of Christiana, PA died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the husband of the late Arlene Mae McCauley Foster. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Samuel J. and Elsie R. Pugh Foster. 
Clarence was an area resident all his life. He served in the US Army during WWII with the 87th Infantry Division and was awarded three Purple Hearts for wounds received during combat in the European Theater. After the war, he was employed by the Lukens Steel Company as a first class welder. 

He is survived by four daughters; Brenda, wife of Doyle Kimmons of Texas, Marsha, wife of Kenneth Schlimme of Honey Brook, Sheila, wife of David Fell of West Brandywine, and Wanda, wife of Edward Massucci of East Fallowfield, nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother Leon Foster.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
