Mrs Betty O'Hop - Family
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. O'Hop - My Best friends Mother. Whenever I would come to visit Bob over the years, I always enjoyed my talks with her. Even way back when we were in school. She always had the time to listen to problems, giving advice and support, and was always very interested in what was going on in our lives. More recently she always asked about my wife and children and how they were doing. Always a very caring and loving woman who was kind to everyone. Truely a very beautiful person. I should have known that something was wrong because the very first Christmas Card I would recieve each year would always come from her - Just the other day when getting the mail, I wonderd if something was wrong. My very favorite time visiting her is when she demonstated in the kitchen how she taught billy how to box !! She said she knew all about that because her dad was a boxer -what a sweet lady. She made me a warm scarf - gray wool - she said it was called a Babushka - I still have it and it is one of my favorite things. Bob and all of your brothers and sisters, My wife and I send our deepest sympathy. Even my adult children are upset to hear this news - they always refer to Bob as an Uncle. God bless all of you and know you are in our thoughts and prayers - Love to all of you Rick and Maggie McKinley

Good Memories
I have many good memories of Betty. She was a great neighbor and mother of two of my childhood friends, Jeannie and Mariann. She has remained in contact with our family through the years by faithfully sending birthday cards (the last one I received was in September.) She enjoyed visiting with my mother and was always a welcome guest in our home! We are sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed, I am sure!
Beth you are in my thoughts
Jeanie
