To Gentile family
I knew Ray from his long association with Boy Scout Troop 74 in Coatesville. He was a Jr. leader under Scoutmaster John Harley from whom I learned of Ray's reputation as an eager scout. He served with me as an adult leader of the troop from 1966 and years following. I have just the fondest memories of Ray, Bob Thomas, and other adults sharing scouting with the youth of Coatesville. We spent weeks and weekends together at Camp Horseshoe with the troop and with Order of the Arrow functions. One of the great memories with Ray and scouting was the week of wilderness canoeing we did in Canada in the summer of 1971. RIP and may the Great Scoutmaster be with us until we meet again.
