Henry L. "Tim" Seal

Henry L. "Tim" Seal, 69, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital.  He was the husband of Linda K. (Ranck) Seal.    
 
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Adena (Hill) and Henry L. Seal, Sr.  
 
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967 during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.  
 
Tim worked at the Coatesville VA and after retirement he was employed by Earl Minyone Electrician as a helper.  
 
Tim was an assistant Cub Master, he was a "Cookie Dad" for Girl Scouts and troop camping; he loved the outdoors and camping and was an avid collector of unique items.  He was a great father figure and teacher to all the children in his life.  
 
He was the owner of "Tim's Night Lights."  
 
He is survived by his four children: Scott Seal, husband of Johnna, of Oxford, Stacey Seal of Exton, Susan Williams, wife of Donald, of Parkesburg and Alexander Seal of Parkesburg; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his sisters, Iva Kohen, wife of Doug, of Downingtown and Mary Louise Lee of Denton, MD; and many nieces and nephews.  
 
He was predeceased by his son, Kevin T. Seal.
 
The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Philadelphia Memorial Cemetery in Frazer.  The viewing will be held at the funeral home on both Sunday evening from 6 until 8 PM and again on Monday morning from 10 until 11.  
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Across America for Wounded Heros, 708 Lammey Rd., Honey Brook, PA 19344.
