William L. Reynolds, 87, of Cochranville, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Kindred Hospital in Havertown, PA. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Moore Reynolds who died in 2011. Born in Cochranville, he was the son of the late Israel and Sophie Wasson Reynolds.
Bill was a resident of Cochranville all his life. He was employed as a driver for the Greyhound Bus Co. He was a member of the Cochranville Fire Co., the Skerrett Masonic Lodge, #343 of Cochranville, the Valley of Reading Consistory and the Shriners. He enjoyed playing Bluegrass music.
He is survived by nieces and nephews and his two caregivers Marlene Artiste and Gloria Garzia. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Cochranville Methodist Cemetery. Masonic services will be conducted at 10:45am. Viewing from 10 to 10:45am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cochranville Fire Co., 3135 Limestone Rd, Cochranville, PA 19330.

Dear Nieces and Nephews of my old friend Bill Reynolds,
Our family lived across the street from Bill & Dot, on the old Flethcher farm. Bill & Dot became our friends, and were always there for us through the years as we worked on our old place. Bill usually had a good story to tell, and would tell it so that it would come alive for all who would listen. After he retired from Greyhound, he took up playing bluegrass on his Martin guitar, and playing golf. He was really good at both. I have many stories of his kindness, but also recognize he had a dual nature. He and Dot were devoted to each other. He would tease her all the time, and she loved it. He is someone I will never forget.
I am sorry I didn't know about his funeral, or I would have attended. My sincere condolences. Bill will be missed.
