Harry K Wilson, 87, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 while under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County and Elder Care. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline Lindsay Wilson. Born at home near Atglen, PA, Harry was the son of the late Walter and Nora McMillan Wilson.
Harry and Jacqueline were married in 1949 and resided and farmed the Mt. Airy Farm near Atglen. Upon retiring from farming he was a rural mail carrier for Cochranville Post Office for 17 years. In 2001 they sold the farm and retired to Lancaster County.
He was a fifty year member and Past Master of the Skerrett Masonic Lodge #343 and a member of the Reading Consistory. In the past, he served as a Trustee of the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church where he was a member for 65 years.
He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed small game and deer hunting. He also enjoyed membership in the New Holland Rod and Gun Club, the Paradise Sportsman Assoc., the Runneymeade Gun Club and the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge of Quarryville. An enthusiastic Oliver Tractor owner, he belonged to the Rough and Tumble Historical Engineers Assoc., where he displayed his three Oliver Tractors and enjoyed the various contests; especially when he was a winner.
His family was the light of his life. Spending time with his wife, sons and grandchildren, his sisters and their families, he always had a story and a joke.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two sons; Walter H. Wilson and wife Deborah of Lewes, DE and Ken Wilson of Christiana, PA, six grandchildren; Amy Townsend, Lindsay Wilson, Keegan Wilson, Connor Wilson and Bailey Wilson, one great granddaughter Nora Green, four sisters; Alma Thomas of Parkesburg, Ethel Rea of Ephrata, Becky Semple of Parkesburg and Joan Smith of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister Thelma Wentz.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11am at the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, PA 17566 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church from 9 to 10:40am. A Masonic Service will be conducted at 10:45am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Milddle Octorara Presbyterian Church at the above address or the Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.

Dear Aunt Jacque, Walter & Kenny, and the sisters,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Uncle Boob was a wonderful man and I will remember him fondly. I know that my children feel they know their Uncle Boob very well. There is hardly a dinner that happens at our house that Joe is not telling us wonderful stories about the family. There is always a request from Josh and Nora to "Please tell us the story about the time Uncle Boob..." He will always live on in our memories. With much love, Debra Wentz

We did not know Mr. Wilson but Walt, his son, is a friend of ours here in Delaware. I wanted to say that there was a lot of love and caring from Walt and Deb when they spoke about Mr. Wilson Mann & Sons, agents and staff would like the family to know they are in our thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.
