Wallace Westley Beach, Jr.
He was educated at the Maritime School of Culinary Arts.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy October 01, 1970 and served in active military service from 1970 through 1974. Wallace was honorably discharged May 26, 1976.
He remained in the reserves for an additional 2 years and finally left the service in 1978.
He was the Executive Chef for the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Marriot Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ from 1979 through 1980.
He was the Director and the Executive Chef in charge of production for Conway Import Company in Long Island City, New York from 1981 through 1987.
Wallace relocated to Puerto Rico in 1988 due to health issues.
He had a condition called Marfans Syndrome. This is a slow deterioration of the major arteries in the body. The disease thins the lining of the walls of the major blood vessels and when blood pressure is raised too high it causes Aneurisms.
In 1988 Wallace had open heart surgery to repair several Aneurisms that had developed over the years.
Upon relocation to Puerto Rico, Wallace worked at the U.S. Military Base continuing his career as an Executive Chef.
In 1996 he was forced to return to New York to repair additional Aneurisms that had developed. This surgery left Wallace paralyzed from the waist down.
Even from a wheel chair, Wallace worked at additional positions that were within his capability as a handicapped person.
2010 through the present time Wallace worked as volunteer at the V.A. Medical Center in Coatesville, Pa. He lived in Parkesburg, Pa from 2010 to 2013.
Wallace was the perfect gentleman. He always helped anyone in need. He loved Music, Camping and fishing. His hobbies included cycling and photography.
He was a best friend to many that knew him.
Wallace is survived by his Mother Doris Bullock, his sister Janice Grady, his lifelong companion Nancy Peralta, his daughter Megan Ann Beach, his son Thomas Beach, his granddaughter Baleigh Lydia Mahon, brother Inn-Law Hank Grady, niece Danielle Grady and a host of beloved family members and friends.
As he touched many lives Wallace will be truly missed.

Nancy, Megan, and Baleigh. My deepest sympathies at the passing of your beloved Wallace. I am wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
As I remember Wallace the following quote describes best the impact he made in my life, "How very quietly you tiptoed into our world, silently, only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint your footprints have left upon our hearts. Unknown"
Nancy, I was so sorry when
Nancy, I was so sorry when Lara called me and told me of Wallace's passing. Although I only spoke to him while visiting my daughter a few times, he was always interesting to talk to and always concerned about how we were doing. May you and your daughter find peace in knowing that he will not be forgotten. Mary-Louise and David Scott

I was heartbroken to hear of
I was heartbroken to hear of this worlds' great loss. This kind man always had a smile or joke every time I saw him at work. I shared good conversation and many laughs with this gentleman. He was "able", not disabled. Able to help, able to bring joy to the people around him, able to improve the outlook of other people who faced physical limitations. Till we meet again good friend. I hope your mansion is close to mine.
Part of my soul has left with you!
Wallace, I have no other way of communicating with you than this way.
I love you with all my heart! There is nothing I wouldn't do for you!
I know you are free now, but I miss hearing your voice everyday!
I miss the way you make me smile! I miss your touch! I miss your laughter!
I miss your way of making everything alright! Tell me it will be ok, like you used to! Dream with the fairies! I love you! Princess!
