Dear Val and Matt, So, so
Dear Val and Matt,
So, so sorry for your loss. I read your blog, through the most difficult journey of your lives. Your heartfelt testimony of love for your son, and and his courageous battle of his short life, will always be with me, in my heart. May you find comfort in knowing your " Little Blessing Of Life, Emmett", is resting, in the comfort of our lord, Jesus Christ. Heaven recieved a darling little angle, who is full of love on Thursday, and he will always be looking over you, and will continue, to shower you with the love you gave him. May the comfort of prayers get you and your families through this difficult time. Blessings, and prayers to all of you.

To Matt and Val and family
I was so sorry to hear about the journey of little Emmett. On Friday February 8th I found comfort in reading Our Daily Bread. The title was Mysterious Truth. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints".-Psalm 116:15. It said "When death comes for the follower of Christ, God opens His arms to welcome that person into His presence. Even through our tears, we can see how precious that is in God's eyes." A sunset in one land is a sunrise in another. Psalm 139:16 shows that Emmett's arrival in God's heaven was expected. God was looking for his arrival, and it was precious in His eyes. May this give you hope and comfort. May the prayers and support of family and friends help you through the next few days, weeks and months.
A poem for you Emmett:
God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
Matt & Val, It was such a
Matt & Val,
It was such a pleasure getting to meet and know you while we were all staying at RMH. thanks for letting us get to know you two, along with sharing Emmett with us through our conversations and your care page. He was such a cute, strong, and very loved little boy with the most dedicated and adoring parents. It was so obvious how much you both loved him! We will continue praying for you and your families. I wish we were closer to celebrate Emmett's life with you and to see you again. If we were closer, I would definitely get around to making you the deviled eggs I never got around to making at RMH!
Love, Derrick & Audra Shaw
