Donald E. Kilgore, Sr., 71, of Coatesville, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Janet Bugar Kilgore, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Paul and Dorothy Davis Kilgore.
An area resident all his life, he proudly served in the US Army. Donald was employed, for 30 years by Gritz Pools of Coatesville as an installer. He enjoyed reading, watching John Wayne movies and spending time on Facebook.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Rebecca Kilgore of Washington, Donald E. Kilgore, Jr. of Coatesville, and Pam, wife of Mike Brooks of Coatesville, four grandchildren; Michael Brenckle, Michael, Dylan and Skylar Brooks and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Angela and four siblings; Paul Kilgore, Virginia DeForest, Kathryn Beale and Margaret Mohr.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg followed by interment at the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11am.

Jane.... I was so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I think the last time I saw you two, was at my brother's funeral. Don was always so upbeat, with a smile on his face. I remember when you lived beside me in Pomeroy and the many hours of chatting. May your many memories, help you through this most difficult time.
