Condolences

I was very sad to read about Uncle Herman's passing in today's paper. I've always loved Uncle Herman and he was such a great help to my mother when she became a young widow back in 1967. I'm so happy he lived such a long full life and did such wonderful volunteer activities.
Now he has gone on to join my mother, some of his siblings, and his parents. He will be greatly missed!
Love
Laura

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Herman. He has been in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember him for being my mom's great older brother. He was always there for her over the years and especially as her health declined. She looked forward to his visits, it brought her peace. She loved him so. I know in my heart that as he passed, she was waiting to take him by the hand and walk together.
To Herman, Beverly and Linda, my sincerest sympathy for your loss. You were so blessed to have a truly remarkable man as your father.

Herman, Beverly and Linda:
Just wanted to send our condolences to all of you and your families. I've always loved Uncle Herman and was always impressed how he helped so many people. He helped my Mom, Mabel, many times. She thought the world of her big brother. He was a wealth of knowledge and historical information. So interesting to hear him talk. I'm so happy he had such a wonderful, and long life. Nothing can ease your pain of his passing.......but I'm sure you have 'wonderful' memories to keep in your hearts. And we all 'know' that he is with the Lord, and his family that had gone on before him. Again, our deepest sympathy, Love, Connie and Roy Reeps

My heart goes out in sympathy to Uncle Herman's children and their extended families. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Herman. He was the "head" of the Whiteman family for so many years, and someone who we all looked up to. I know my mother, Mabel, loved her big brother. He was such a caring, kind and loving soul. I am so happy that he enjoyed a long and blessed life -- filled with loving family and friends. What a joyous reunion as he joins his siblings who have gone ahead. He will be missed! My deepest sympathy ...

Dear Herman, Beverly and Linda,

It is with sadness to hear of Uncle Herman's passing across the miles and long years since I had last seen him. I pray that you and your families are comforted at this difficult time and rest in the knowledge that through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we have attained the victory of life over death and Uncle Herman has, too ! He was a man who believed the gospel of grace and he showed God's love in how he treated everyone he met. He was an inspirational Christian man whose life was a witness to Christ and what a lasting legacy he has left for our remembrance until we all meet again, and meet we will in the home of God's love if not before. He was a very special dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. I always remember Mom loved his visits as far back as when I was still riding a "Big-Wheel" between our house and Uncle Runks' driveway across the street ! God bless you all.
