Delma Virginia Chichester, 71, of Atglen, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of the late James Russell Chichester, Jr., who passed away in 2002 after they had shared 42 years of marriage together.

Born Tuesday, December 13, 1938 in Upland, Pa., Delma was the daughter of the late Ida Lee Mae Edmenson Trimble and Harold Nelson Trimble.

She was a 1952 graduate of the Eddystone High School. She was most recently employed at the Harrison House of Christiana and had also been employed as a Parkesburg Crossing Guard.

Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and arts and crafts.

Delma is survived by her three sons: David A. Chichester of Holtwood, Gerald N. Chichester of Lancaster and Michael J. Chichester of Downingtown; six grandchildren and one brother, Gene Trimble of Florida. She was predeceased by three siblings, Harold Trimble, Helen Trimble and Tootsie Bruce.

The Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Delma's passing. I have very fond memories of all of spending our holidays together playing football, eating and laughing. Her stories were so funny, not to mention her love for cooking!
