Condolences

Dick was a very good friend of mine for almost 50 years. We spent many good times together at the Algerine Hunting Club together.

I watched his sons grow into fine young men who were the pride of Dick and Joan. He also wascertainly proud to of their two grandsons.

Wherever Dick was he wanted everyone to be having a great time and worked hard to see they all did.

Peace,

hab

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Weaver family. I have known Dick and Joan for almost 20 years. They always appeared to me to have the perfect marriage. They seemed to compliment one another. Joan being more reserved and conservative, and Dick a bit more adventurous. Although we dealt mostly on a business level, I consider them both friends. Dick always had a lot of energy and enthusiasm when we spoke or met, and seemed to see the bright-side of everything. He was very well in tune with the changes in the economy and liked to try to capitalize on them. He had a pension for reading something in the paper, and then interpreting it into an investment idea. More often than not he was right, but sometimes he was wrong. When he was wrong, he never let it get him down. He just would not let it ruin his day.

Dick you will be missed!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your dear loved one. The time spent with them always seems so short. Please find comfort in the promise from God that he will resurrect our loved ones, John 5:28. The bible also says that "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." Psalms 34:18. My prayers are with you and your family, Sandy

My condolences to Bob Sue and the entire Weaver family. I met Dick in 1984 when his son Robert purchased his Chevrolet dealership in Pottsville. I went on to work for Bob and always enjoyed when Dick would drop by the dealership. Over the years I would run into Dick at car auctions and we always talk about the business. I spoke to Dick a couple of weeks ago at Garden Spot. Dick was a great guy who I will miss.

Eddie and I send our deepest condolences to Joan and Dick's sons. I've know Dick for over seventy years - as kids on Charles Street, buying cars at Weaver Motors, as members of the Brandywine Shrine Club, the Goddard Masonic Lodge and in our travels across the "Hot Sands of the Desert"
as Shriners and Past Potes in Rajah Shrine.

Rest in Peace Brother -As-Salāmu `Alaykum
